Your Consultation
Please note that it is a policy of NSPR that all discussions, whether in emails or in person, are strictly confidential. Your experiences, comments and, most importantly, personal details will not be reproduced in print, verbally or online (unless you wish them to). This aspect of our work is very important, given that many people may be embarrassed about making known their experiences, for fear of being ridiculed.
Please also be aware that NSPR is run by enthusiastic amateurs, and what we do is strictly on a no-fee basis. We don't get paid to do it and we don't ask clients to pay for petrol or other expenses. As such we would ask to be treated with the respect we show you in return.
The first step in the process is for you to answer a few questions via an on-line questionnaire - these help us discover your feelings about what has happened, the background to the events, the circumstances of the environment, people involved, etc. Following the questionnaire, if you still feel you wish to discuss your experiences with someone a one-to-one meeting can be arranged with an experienced investigator, probably at the home or workplace in question.
It is at this meeting that some initial investigation could take place, such as checking for unusual electrical or magnetic activity in the area (both of which are known to give rise to apparently supernatural events). It is also a chance to ask questions of your own, of course.
You may find that just sharing your experiences with someone who has been exposed to similar cases before is all you need to help deal with the events. However if we all feel that further investigation would be a good idea then that can also be arranged, to take place at a later date with chosen experts in whatever fields are relevant.
A written report can be produced, documenting any findings made by the team - this too, is strictly confidential. It is not always possible to explain unusual events, although apparently supernatural happenings can have mundane explanations. As you might appreciate, proving something to be a ghost or poltergeist (if they exist at all!) is well-nigh impossible without photographic or similar proof. This can be frustratingly elusive, so we can't guarantee to come up with all the answers!
