All About NSPR
Ghosts, ghouls and things that go bump in the night - that's what most people assume the paranormal is all about. By extension, all researchers must be nutty gadget freaks who like to scare themselves silly in the dark, hoping to catch a glimpse of a full-body apparition or a disembodied orb floating into view.
While this is true of many paranormal groups, NSPR is different in that we try to blend our scientific interest in the subject with the needs of clients who may be worried about strange goings-on in their homes or places of work.
That's not to say we don't use any technology at all - cameras and digital sound recorders are the order of the day - but in our opinion, too many groups rely too heavily on the technology, and not enough on actually listening to their clients and responding to their needs.
NSPR was founded to try to achieve two objectives:

NSPR was founded to try to achieve two objectives:
- Help people explain apparently weird events that occur around them in their homes or workplaces
- Gain an insight into a facet of our world that mainstream science normally ignores, namely hauntings and other paranormal events
We have a mix of backgrounds and skills - such as photographic, audio or research abilities - which together comprise a team dedicated to hopefully finding answers: perhaps there is a rational explanation for what you are experiencing (see the case study page for an example). And if not, then gathering research will perhaps help to further our goal of getting the paranormal accepted by mainstream science.
